WinCC Flex compilation error

grayman Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone I am running WinCC Flex2008, compiled the HMI project anduncovered 4 error codes as follows: Common message to all 4 errors: 'Internal error (detail: HmiScreenItem.SetColor: exception with OCX property: BackColor - object type:' One error code: 'VIEW_MSG_SIMPLE' Three error codes: 'VIEW_OCX' The project HMI is an OP177B 6" colour HMI integrated with a CPU313C brick S7-300 PLC. The project was originally written a few years ago, I am integratingthe original projectfrom a single project to a multiproject configuration to tie itinto a wider profibus networkwith another PLC-HMI station. I uncovered the HMI compilation errors in the multiproject version so compiled checked the single project HMI original and the errors are there too. I am unable to contact the person that built the project. Fortunately the original project HMI programcan be downloaded into the HMI but if Irecompile then try to download to the HMIit fails which is weird. I need to reconfigure the PLC tag source so have to recompile anyway which is where I run into issues. I have tried to click onto the fault messagesfrom the Object panel in WinCC flexin the hope it will take me to the fault locationbut no it does not so not sure where the problem is. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards

grayman Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi Wizard Yes that fixed it. The project was created in WinCC Flex2005 and WinCC Flex2008 had to convert the file before I couldview & useit. Always a little tentative to use the rebuild all commandbut it fixed the problem. Thanks very much for your help.
