HSP for CPU 1212C in V11

DimiD Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hallo guys, I need help with inserting CPU 1212C (6ES7212-1AE40-0XB0) in a V11 project . This CPU doesn't exist neither in the catalog nor in the last HSP update. Does anybody have experience with this device?

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	The 2nd same related question today.... [LINK] Does the booklet that comes with the CPU not specify which software to be used? Dondadc: Please talk to your supplier.. you might be able to get the earlier version of the hardware.. otherwise it means you have to (legal route) buy an upgrade to TIA13. Good news however - you can have both TIA11 and TIA13 installed on one computer, running (at the same time) with a single TIA13 license. The newest TIA version (2015/02) is TIA Portal V13 SP1. There is a catch when it comes to working with PLCs programmed with TIA11 and your PC is running TIA13. (This might be different with TIA13 SP1) PLEASE.. before upgrading - check the specifications on the computer required / specified. If you do not have this specifications, get back to us with what you have. At my company we run on smaller machines. I hope this is of help.
