 If you transform from S7-300/400 to 1200/1500, there is a big Job to do,

I have not yet had to do a formal project for S7-300/400. So what you are saying is very encouraging.

Reading these pages it does however seem to be tricky to get the traditional serial MPI cable working with TIA. With so many of the old CPUs not even available in the hardware configuration, I may even never need to not use Step7 V5.x for the S7-300/400 that crosses my path.
