hi everyone,

i hope this post fint you all well,

So, i have MPI cable with usb adapter and when I tried to transfer the progect to target hmi touch screen 

TP-27 10'' and folled the instruction till i find setting of Set PG/PC Interface and I don't find the CP5512 control processor.

I don't understand what this means and how can I install it and idon't have any other device except the MPI cable adabter,

which instruction do you mean?
CP5512 is a PCCard Adapter for PROFIBUS but you say you have a mpi cable and usb adapter.
Which adapter you use exactly ?(MLFB/Ordernumber)

sorry a transfer is not possible in you case.
Read the Note of your Link!

• Direct transfer from the PC to the Windows-based panel via a PC adapter (RS232 -> MPI/PROFIBUS, USB -> MPI/PROFIBUS) is not supported.

Hello,

if you have a "real" Com Port you can test if the Transfer works with the COM Port of the Panel.

Or you use a PROFIBUS Adapter which is listed in you link.

i have cpu 214c-db connected to touch panel screen with profibus .

the problem is that i don't have real com port in my pc but i have usb-MPI adapter it was very good when make connection with cpu but when making upload it doesn't read the touch panel only read the cpu

how can i make connection betwwen touch screen and my pc taking care that screen doesn't have ethernet?

please help it is very urgent

It also happen to me previously due to my pc not integrated with RS232 real COM port.

Faster way to transfer your project urgently is call siemens representative.

I believe they can make it within half an hour. (solution taken by me previously )

OR, If you have another MP which integrated with Ethernet port, so you can start migrate from TP27 to your new MP.
