I'm trying to install WinCC flexible 2008 Standard om my computer, but i'm getting following error message.

Are you working on a HP Notebook?

I had same error when installing on my HP notebook. I could solve it by installing a standard Windows OS (not the HP version of it delivered with notebook).

It will be a problem installing Flexible if you already have SQL 2008 installed because Flexible tries to install SQL 2005 and something will conflict.

You will need to uninstall SQL 2008 first and then install Flexible.

Then you can install SQL 2008.
