AnsuAbinesh Bronze Member Joined: 12/14/2010 Last visit: 1/12/2025 Posts: 117 Rating: (0)	Dear ALL, I have used CP443-5 EXT 6GK7443-5DX05-0XE0 V7.1 also i have used Sep7 v5.4 sp4.I dont have CP 443-5 EXT V7.1 in hardware catalog.I have only CP443-5 EXT V7.0.in hw catalog. I want V7.1 for CP443-5 EXT. if i can use v7.0 for v7.1 what will happen? If i go for firmware update,it is possible through ethernet or profibus or both? Kindly give us solution.thanks in advance

The CP 443-5 Extended cannot act as a DP slave, only as a DPV1 master, or a Partner for HMI/SCADA applications, or S5 communications; so no gsd file is available for it.
