Hello freefly; WinCC Flexible is not aware of any equipment it is controlling, so it cannot display status for any of them. And any equipment would generaly be connected to the PLC, no? All you can have in WinCC Flexible is tags, connected to the PLC. The PLC can be made aware of the status of the equipment it is connected to, either through a network (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus) or through logic and I/O (run feedback status from a pump, for example). These status signals can be reused in the HMI, where you can create your own animations, boxes, tables, as you wish. Or you could look at the HMI animations used in conjunction with the diagnostic FB126 "PNIODiag" (which is used both with Profibus and with Profinet IO networks); it will give you station diagnostics for all Profibus/Profinet nodes connected to the PLC: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26996747 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

I've loaded the the FB126 exe, I see the diagnostic library in the S7 software, but shouldn't there be some additions tools in the WinCC? |
