Installation Problems WinCC Flexible 2007

AndyBee Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	We have attempted to install WinCC Flexible Advanced 2007 onTHREE PCs with the installation failing after the WinCC flexible 2007 stage. The installation program generates an 'error!' and the program terminates. The message is 'SIMATIC WinCC Flexible 2007 Setup cannot complete the installation'. No other information is given. The spec. on one PC is as follows. Dell Dimension 3100, Genuine Pentium 4 3.00 GHz 0.99 Gb RAM 60Gb Free HDD 70Gb Microsoft Windows Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254:Service Pack 2) We have disabled McAfee anti-virus software and Windows XP Firewall. Has anyone seen similar problems, or has any suggestions on how to get this software installed?

bunglehead Posts: 54 Rating: (3)	What about logs? Did you find any..I used this version without problem, but it was a clean install on clean WinXP SP2. Did error appears during MSDE setup?
