          For me it is first time to use PWM outputs. I don't understand that the configuration were i need to assign the required frequency. In CRL_PWM had only two input options like HW Identifier and Enable PWM.

                    I want to generate the PWM output for 0 to 400HZ variable selection with CPU 1214 DC/DC/DC

PLC.

Hi.

The description is contradictory.[LINK]

"0 to 400Hz" is stating a PTO where the frequency is varied.
The ON-OFF cycle ratio stays fixed at 50%-50%.

PWM is where the ON-OFF cycle ratio (duty cycle) can be changed.
The frequency is at a fixed frequency.

When the hardware setup looks like the attached picture and the following tag is declared:

DutyCycle   INT   IW1000

..then you can manipulate "DutyCycle" between  0 and 100 for duty cycle of (almost) 0% and (almost) 100%.
