Majeed Ahmed Posts: 55 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I have a query related to TIA portal V13. I have made a program and want to simulate through PLCsim. I have installed the S7 PLCsim V13. I have the icon of simulation but it is not getting active. Kindly let me know how can I solve this problem. I am new to this software. Regards.

You must change you projected PLC to the Type "6ES7215-1AG40-0XB0" . An check the List of installed SW, the SIMULATION only works with V13 SP1! Regards Christoph

Majeed Ahmed Posts: 55 Rating: (1)	Dear, I changed the CPU to the one which you told and still the problem exist. Here I have attached the list of softwares that are installed. William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	ChristophD ..the SIMULATION only works with V13 SP1! Options: 1) Upgrade all software from TIA13 SP0 to TIA13 SP1 OR 2) Upgrade BASIC software to PROFESSIONAL and simulate with S7-1500.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 22800 Rating: (3073)	Hello, fw<4 means that the Simulation with PLCSIM for the S7-1200 PL is only available for Devices with Firmware Version V4.0 or above. You PLC ist a V3.x PLC and can't be simulated! And to Simulate the S7-1200 you must first install TIA V13 SP1 ! Regards Christoph
