Hello mdedem; I have looked at the Simoreg System manual, and it indicates that the first six bits of the second byte of the Input area are used to indicate the % value of the parametrized maximum current on the drive. I have copied some of their tables in the following attachment (simplified them a bit) so you can see where they are located in the data table and how they are used to calculate the % value. Here is a link to the mentionned manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21772518 Now this is not something I have tried myself before, so try it out and see if it is effective. The same chapter indicates that you can also use SFCs for data-record reading (DPV1 functions) to get the current readings from the drive,. so that could be another alternative. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
