Hi,

I have a temperature sensor (LM35) which has an output of (0-5)v connected to analog input (PIW800) and a heating lamp with illumination corresponding to (0-10)v on analog output (PQW800).

The project is aimed to teach students how to tune PID of affordable process control as described above. Physical circuit and plant has been tested.

The problem I confront is how to configure the PID block (choosing the best fitting the project). Documents are good but practical example would be much appreciated especially if tuning is demonstrated.

By the way, is there anyway to use Ziegler-Nicholas with PLC (no charting is available like that in MicroWin and S7-200).
