Hi guys and experts.

I'm trying find a solution to start a Data_Logg (in WinCC Flex 2008 SP3) from a BOOL-tag value
Googles a lot, not find useful answer..:(

Function LogTag does not work because in this Data_Log in this case,  i have manyTags (eg. Temp, Current) to logg.

When the BOOL = 1 I want to start the Data_Log.

When the BOOL = 0 I need to stop the Data_Log.

How to do this?

You can do it by configuring a tag -event-change value- start logging

Unfortunately this solution is not "safe". HMI can be restarted while the bit retains its value. So I'm looking forward...

Hi eisenpferdreiter.
I have followed that link, I do not understand it.. ( like the last post in the replies)
I guess I should use some script, but I do not find somewhere how to start and stopp (enable / disable) a DataLogg from the Script.
Maybe You do have any exemple?

u can use the above script and call the vb script cyclically in scheduler from device setting  ,for every 1 sec cycle .
