Sending a DB to other processors

I have a system that has 3 PLC's (each has 315-2DP with an attached CP342-5) The system is essentially 2 identical machines, and a shared resource panel. The devices attached to the shared resource panel are equipment that can supply material to either machine during operation (Scope describes the machines as 1 on Duty while the other is standby). Obviously I am having to interlock and verify flow paths etc, but I am trying to consolidate information passing to just the necessary run signals and feedback required to ensure proper processing. I have devised a DB_SEND, and DB_RECV in each machine PLC and and the Shared resource panel to hold all of the necessary information. Now for the question... What would be the proper function to use for a relatively deterministic information? GET/PUT, USEND/URCV,BSEND/BRCV, X_SEND/X_RECV? I understand I need to format the SD input with something like P#DB40.dbx0.0 Byte 100. I have configured the CP342-5's in NetPro with the proper S7 Communication partners. regards, \/\/

However it must be easy to get the data from one side to the other, after loading the Hardware, Netpro and the software the connections must be built up when you look in Netpro Online.... If that is ok then you have to give the functions you want free (enable...) so that the functions could be tested one by one.... Please consider that you must set two merkers for one complete connection (on the BSEND and on the BRECV). Please check the software and place the tested version back so that we have all a working example for the CP342-5 with BSEND/BRECV.......... Attachment Profibus.zip (598 Downloads)
