 i have searched the forum but really have found the answer.I am trying to connect a two wire 33-240 ohm level sensor to a AM2 module 0-10 volt. i can not get this to work.  i have connected one lead of the sensor to 24vdc positive and the other side to U1 of the AM2 and 24vdc negative to M1 of the AM2 module. also which analog input do i use?

There is NO standard solution to your problem.

LOGO can use analog signals 0-10 Volt or 0(4) - 20 mA

Your sensor is a resistand sensor.

Please let us know what kind of logo you have, and what kind of powersupply you have.

LOGO 12RC 12/24RC?  Power 12V 24V DC (or AC?)

Mabey with al little resitor (L=es 1 Euro) you can make a working system

What kind of sensor is your sensor, what is the use of it?

The sensor is a WEMA S5U  33-240 OHM diesel fuel continous level gauge  logo 4 amp 24vdc power supply logo 8 12/24RCEo.

Take a resistor of 330 Ohm ore 390 Ohm

Connect the resistor to the + of your power 24 VDC. The other site of the resistor must connected to the Analog input of the LOGO, (Ai1 or i7) and to the sensor. The other site of the sensor goes toe the minus of the powersupply.

You can also use an extensionunit and use a 0 - 10 Volt input.

Than you have aproximaly 10 Volt by 100% Full and 2 Volt by 0% (empty)

Its easy to scale it to the correct value in the LOGO.

BUTTTTTTTTT, this sensor is not for connecting constant to 24 V.

So ik have told with the resistor it s possible that your sensor ca 0,4 Watt power uses. Thats to much, the datasheet told me it must be 0,125 Watt.  

Only if you use this sensor a little time you can use it, so the sensor cant be warming up in that short time.

NEVER use this in explosif materials (benzine, petrol etc.)

I have made new caculations. 

Take a resistor of 1000 Ohm (1 kOhm) then your sensor wil by consuming 125 mW, whats maximaal is.

Only your inputsignals become different, 100% = 5 Volt and 0% = 1 Volt., so your sensor becomes less acurate, i cant help that.

I made this calculations not exact, you must try it whit a sensor. 

Beware the sensor must newer have to much power, HEAT!
