vinay210986 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	dear sir i am using 6RA80 DC drive controller for DC stand of rolling mill (500kw DC motor), every parameter of controller is perfect but once motor pass a single hot bar ,the armature actual voltage and current both start flactuating , i tried to tune this using p50225 and p50226,but it is not usefull, kindly guide me how can we stop this current hunting

vinay210986 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	i did all optimization including field, armature and speed loop ,initially when i start the motor it starts very systemically and run almost set RPM even current is almost constant, but once it pass the hot material (it is used on hot metal rolling stand) RPM is not dropping but after passing the metal bar its RPM shoots to 60 to 70 RPM more then its set point and then current is completely unstable it regain it set RPM after 2 to 3 sec but current is verying from 10 to 320Amp then when we stop the motor and restart its work again as i described above. if it required manual optimization please tell me which parameter need to be set i tried to set these parameters p50225,p50226,p50155 and p50156 but without load everything looks ok onload again it create same problem,

vinay210986 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear sir recently i face a problem with cud card of dc controller (internal software error) so i get the replacement from siemens,but as i take the controller online it shows in power unit specification 125A drive having field 10A (r50072,r50073) Also when i switched on controller it shows fault F60068, kindly tell me is there is any problem in CUD card or we can change power unit specification because now controller unable to deliver more then 10A field current and also current scaling in drive is showing wrong value

vinay210986 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear sir kindly tell me in DC drives (6RA80) in which parameter we specified field voltage because i am using a dc drive of 600A 4Q ,but when i switched on drive the actual value of current is reached upto only 42% ,secondly drive showing fault F60043,some time and when i measure field voltage it start from 220volt and reached upto 320 volt dc kindly tell me how can i stablize field voltage and get specified field current ,i do the optamization for field already but it didn't work

If it is old running machine, then check the input supply voltage. If not check following. Have you set motor data values in parameters correctly? e.g. P50078, P50081, P50083, P50100, P50101, P50102 etc Have you carried out otimisation correctly? Does motor run in field weakening mode? Motor rated field current is set in P50102. The fault is displayed since motor parameters, field weakening parameters & supply line parameters are not matching.
