I have one requirement, I want to increment the data block for value storage using the pointer concept. For Every 100ms, Load value should be captured in the Data block Max 1000 Values (Real Variable). Kindly provide any sample code for the application.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Split from Indirect Addressing (Pointer) with CPU S7-1200. |

hi I´m not that expierienced in programming with TIA Portal, but I think that there is no difference between the handling with pointer compared to Step7 5.5. Maybe this short sample could help you: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/de/en/posts/130184/ regards, |

Dear App Engg,
Also check out the variant datatype, search for it in the searchbox. Kind regards,

Dear friend, Giving you the answer is not quite how it works for me.. maybe another may be give you a sample. I understand that you need to store 1000 REAL numbers in a data block. You concern is to move a pointing marker so you can fill the DB with the values. According to me you have x2 ways of doing this. Next.. create an array inside the DB. That would be something like.. Then in code you can have.. Is it what you were looking for? |
