What is the difference between these two versions?

Is it possible to have like Step-7 as Basic and WinCC as Advanced or vice versa?

each WinCC coming up wit Step7 Basic, so no problem to work with the bundle Step7 basic and WinCC Advanched.

The diefferences are:

Step7:
Basic -> only for S7-1200 PLC
Professional: -> for all PLC S7-300/S7-400, S7-1200/S7-1500

The differences are normally described in the delivery release.

The most significant difference is:

• STEP 7 Basic V13 is the engineering system for S7-1200 and succeeds STEP 7 Basic V12.
• STEP 7 Professional V13 is the engineering system for all SIMATIC controller classes (S7-1500, S7-1200, S7-300, S7-400, WinAC) and succeeds STEP 7 Professional V12.
