Hello friends..

I'am creating a block very simple.  It is only setting 1 output by 1 input.  like that:     -----ı ı------()-------

But when i want to add a new group same, i can copy the same in the network and then update network. It is working. But is there a way to do easy that. Like a button on the function to add new ? Example is in attachment with red circle.

There are other methods if doing equivalent things.
One such way is to use arrays and FOR-LOOP with SCL.

Yes there is a quick way even in LADDER, but with conditions.

You have have a buffer of memory bits that needs to go to outputs, right?

Make sure that there is a 1:1 ration between outputs and inputs
That means (example) M500.0 is for Q0.0 right through to M501.7 is for Q1.7.

Now that means if you skip an output number (CPU1214 not have Q1.3-Q1.7) if not used.

Then you can declare #Q_WORD for QW0 as WORD and
#MQ_WORD for MW500 as WORD.

Next use MOVE instruction as to #MQ_WORD >> #Q_WORD.

The trouble with the above method is that programmers use this method for a reason. They want to have a buffer of memory bits that stays the same regardless of which the electrical designers make the outputs. Then later the programmers can make the link between memory and outputs when they know what outputs to use.

This is the preferred design way for many PLC types / brands (including S7-200).. but not really needed for S7-300 / 400 / 1200 / 1500. Inside TIA we can fill in physical output names onto FB code blocks and we can change the addresses in the PLC tags if there is a change.
