I = torque direction 1 forward operation

II = torque direction 2 reverse operation

                                     but why operating status II flashes frequently not constantly during forward operation OF dc motor, only I should appear in forward direction. confused, please clear my doubt.

Inside 6RA70 there is a closed loop speed controller.

When speed error is positive drive goes in FWD operation, when error is negative in REV operation.

               According to you   drive will work in reverse operation & motor will work in forward direction.

in "simple words"........

for drive :

FWD means energy goes from power grid to motor

REV means energy goes from motor to energy grid

for motor :

FWD is clocwise rotation

REV is counterclockwise rotation
