Jeff Casagrande Posts: 1529 Rating: (203)	Good luck. I'm not sure it is possible. V90's were designed specifically to use 1FL6 motors. They are totally not flexible for adaptation, especially when it comes to encoders. They were designed to compete with Mitsubishi crap servo drives, which are also totally not flexible.

SAR-CNT Posts: 226 Rating: (5)	I understand we are now at the stage of development of systems for the machine "sleeves" looking for optimal solutions at Siemens....but the engines 1KF6... not too much. Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 1/19/2026 Posts: 6049 Rating: (828)	Hello SAR-CNT, this won't be possible. V90 can only be operated with 1FL6 motors. If you need to run 3rd party synchronous motors with a SINAMICS drive, you will need to use SINAMICS S120.
