Communication between CP342-5 and DP master of PLC 315 PN/DP

Duyait Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am doing a project that have 1 CPU315 PN/DP (DP master) and it will get data from CPU315 Slave through CP342-5(DP slave) Can I use FC1 (DP SEND) on CPU315(slave) like this: CALL "DP_SEND" CPLADDR:=W#16#110//the start address of CP342-5 SEND :=P#DB1.DBX0.0 BYTE100 DONE :=M99.6 ERROR :=M99.5 STATUS :=MW100 And In Hardware CPU315PN/DP(DP Master) I configure CP342-5(slave) have virtual Input address: IB1604-IB1704. I don't know if CP342-5(slave ) can send the data have 100 bytes length.And in CPU Master, does it receive 100bytes length fix in Virtual Input address that I aldready configure (IB1604-IB1704)? And Can I use 2 FC1(DP_SEND) to send data to one CPU (master) like this: CALL "DP_SEND" CPLADDR:=W#16#110//the start address of CP342-5 SEND :=P#DB1.DBX0.0 BYTE100 DONE :=M0.6 ERROR :=M0.5 STATUS :=MW100 CALL "DP_SEND" CPLADDR:=W#16#110//the start address of CP342-5 SEND :=P#DB2.DBX0.0 BYTE100 DONE :=M1.6 ERROR :=M1.5 STATUS :=MW200 Can the Master CPU receive all 100 bytes of DB1 and 100 bytes of DB2 ? Or it just receive 100bytes of DB2, because 100 bytes of DB2 will overlap 100bytes of DB1 Thanks,

For your questions, that I marked with numbers, the next answers: 1. Yes, a Telegram for Profibus could be a maximum of 240 byte, the only problem is that the blocks are send in 32 bytes, so the data is not consistent when they are bigger then 32 bytes, so the only thing you have to do is on the last byte checking if there is a change.. 2. Please don't do that, you could send more bytes directly from DB1, I don't know if it will work, I don't think so because in this blocks some SFC's are called that would inteference on each other because they are acyclic. 3. As mentioned in question two, it is better to configurate 200 byte on the DP_SEND and then you could Receive on the I/O 200 byte with using SFC14/15...
