Good day,

Should it be that all thread under the Favorites folder give email notification when updated (assuming your set email instead of PM notification)?

After the site renovation, those threads that I've included to favorites aren't giving me notification.

Hello G_R_E_Y,

not all of your favorites will send on update a notification. If you add a thread to the favorites you have to mark the "Enable notification" checkbox (see attachment).

To see all threads with enabled notification you can have a look at mySupport > Notifications.
Do you find there your missing threads?
If not, do you find the threads in mySupport > Favorites?

Good day Min_Moderator,

I've checked the Notification page and those threads on my Favorites is actually not there. How then could I enable notification to those threads when it seems the only option for threads I can find is to add them to favorites (and I thought it's automatically added to notification).

I've tried to check all on Favorites and "Set options">Notification OK, but didn't work.

to add a thread to favorites will not add them to notifications automatically. Like I described above, you have to mark the notification checkbox in the "Add to favorites"-Popup (Sorry, in my last post I forgot the attachment, now I will add  it).

Steps to notification:

1. Open the thread you want notifications for
2. Click "Add to favorites" in the right mySupport Cockit, or click Actions > "Add Topic to favorites" in the top of the thread.
3. In the Popup don't forget to set the "Enable notification" Checkbox (like in the attachment)

Then you should get notification for every update of this threads.
It's not possible in mySupport > Favorites to add topics direct to notifications, you have to add them as favourite again (with checkbox).

I see, thanks for all your inputs, it was helpful. If I may suggest then, I think:

1) The notification checkbox on posts could be made easier to notice (not in the bottom of favorite pop-up), maybe it should have its own button within "Actions". 

2) Also maybe there could be an option within Favorites page when you can add favorites to notifications.

3) Lastly, the Set Option>Notification Option seems better placed on Notification page than on Favorites.

I'm happy that it is working now.

To your suggestions:
We also want to improve the notification system to make it easier for the users setting their notifications and favorites. But it is not possible to separate notifications from favorites. I hope in the next update of the Forum there will be the first improvement to make notifications easier. 
With point two an three you are absolutely right, we will see what we can do in this cases.
