By no means am I experienced with SCL but I fancied trying a script which will change the background color of an I/O field depending on the Process Value in that I/O field. I have a high and low reject value to which the received weight should fit in. Attached I have a script which I have written and would just appreciate an experienced eye to check over so I know how I can improve the script for the future or even an example script would be appreciated.

I have already managed to get the background colour to change via the properties but just as an introduction to scripts I was looking to try this.

Use scripts when all other functions cannot accomplish what you want.

Not to discourage you, but this is the equivalent of getting on a bicycle and riding 3 meters without falling.
