I am trying to install GSD files in TIA portal V13, but I have some problems.

After opening the project, TIA installs the missing GSD Files that are already included in the project. After a while I get a message that the installation was successful, but then pops up a message that some GSD files are missing. I tried to install then manually but same result, first successful message and then error.

This GSD files were running in another PC with TIA v13... I attach some screenshots.

have you select the Checkbox left the name to install the GSD?
If any error occurrs during the installation of the Files ?

You can zip the GSD to a archive and attach here so somebody can check if the same error occurrs?

And which TIA Portal Version do you use exactly ? V13 ? V13 SP1? V13 SP1 UPD?

I have checked the boxes and then I get successful message about the installation.

The GSD files are used in other projects and the same project in a collegue PC is working, so I would discard that the problem is in the GSD Files.

I am using TIA v13 SP1 Update 4.

ok i have checked ii on my system and install all GSD Files without any error, after the install all Files are marked as installed.

Can it be a language setting problem?
I have installed with German language settings, hav you try to install with a other language setting on you system?

have you also try to uninstall the GSD and install again?
If you select all entrys from the archive you attached and click Deletein the GSD Dialog.

After that Restart TIA Portal and install the GSD again from the attached archive.

Do this work an your side?

I tried, and then I get only 2 GSD files installed. Attached screenshot.

This is a new PC with i5 processor, so actuallly is a bit slow for TIA portal. Can it be a timeout problem?

no timout or low processor should not be the problem at this time.

I have tested with the archive which provided you and no blanks in the pathname.
Can this be the problem.

Is drive G: a local drive or networkstorage?

Hi Christoph,

Finally solved, as I saw that there was no problem with the GSD Files, and everytime I tried I got installed different GSD Files and missing some others. I think this is related with some register that doesnt recognised all GSD files or it is not written properly.

What I did was disable any kind of process, disconnect my PC from Internet, uninstall the GSD files, reboot my PC and start TIA. Then try to open the project, so TIA install the all the files and then everything fine. I dont know the reason, neither an answer from siemens support but now is ok.
