CP341 Modbus Slave & Master on the Same Rack

glgoode Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Is it possible to have a Cp431 Modbus master & slave modules attached to the same PLC? I have set up a rack a CPU 315-2DP & 2 modbus modules one configured as master and one as slave and because I dont the hardware that the system is going to eventually talk to I have just connected the two modules together using an RS485 cable. I have modified the application created by Late in the modbus thread to send the slave data. When I run the program the RX & Tx leds flash on both cards but the errorrecievedor newdatareached flags are never set. I have attached the code that I am using.
