I am looking to download a program to a PLC using the Simatic Automation tool so thought I would run the backup utility first, but I receive the error below.

"Backup and restore is not supported by this device or the program downloaded was created with a version that does not support backup and restore.  Please upgrade to the latest version of the SIMATIC Automation Tool."

The error is a bit confusing, does my PLC not support backup/restore or is the automation tool unable to backup the program? I'm already using latest version (v02.00.00.00_03.33.00.01) of the Automation tool. The PLC is a 1211C with firmware version V04.01.03_00.00.00.00

The program was made in TIA v13 with all latest service packs.

It is not possible to backup and restore the programs for S7-1200 all versions with Automation Tool.
