I've a problem with my CPU412-5H, the work memory reached 100%  after downloading few CFCs so I put an external 2MB RAM but work memory still full.

So How can I reduce data on work memory?

1-Have you try "Memory Compressing"

2-Optimise the program:

a-Remove any Blocks not needed in the  program.

b-Reduce the Size of Data blocks.

3-Converting some LAD to STL.

4-How can you change the size of the available free main memory of a SIMATIC S7-400 CPU?

5-Select CPU with  higher  Work Memory.
