Dear Sir/Madam

I'm currently working on a project which has an EH's 4-20ma HART temperature measurement instrument and a Siemens PLC with 6ES7431-1KF00-0AB0 anologue module 4-20 mA without HART support. I'm writing you to clarify is it possible to connect the instrument with HART to the above mentioned module? Won't there be any problems?

Endress+Hauser's temperature transmitter TMT182 with 4 to 20 mA, HART output signal.

I just want to clarify whether there will be any problems when connecting an instrument with HART to an analogue module without HART support.

Personally I think, there shouldn't be any problems, since the current loop occupies the 0 to 25 Hz band, meanwhile HART resides in a higher band 500 to 10000 Hz; therefore the HART signal won't be sensed by the analogue module without HART support. But I wanted to consult the Siemens specialists to be sure, that the above mentioned conclusion is true.
