My second question is if I am using two servers one main and other stand by with one engg.station and using 417-4H AS stations over cp1613 IE residing at each station(2 no. each). then kindly tell me what is the exact role of REDCONNECT? how to order it? what is the difference between scalance and OSM? Thank you

OSM is Optical Switch Module. Scalance is a new family of Industrial Switches. See here Industrial Ethernet switches
