MP377 writing binary file

Uncle Vanya Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hi All! I've to read and write data with DBase II!+ (.dbf) files. I know the format of this file, but I have to use binary mode to handle it. I try to use FileCtrl.File object, but there is no any method to write data to a position correctly: VBS File open mode binary (32) 1. Write using Put - write a 4 byte header before the data 2. Write using WriteFields with numeric data - write the data and CR+LF (why this is a binary file) 3. Write using WriteFields with string data - write the data within double quots How an I make theese very complicated tasks listed below: 1. Open file 2. Seek position 3. Write my data (without frames) 4. Close file Regards Iván

Uncle Vanya Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hi, This is not a PC WinCC flexible RT application, this is an MP 377 panel without possibility of ADO, and ODBC (no dialogs for setting), as I've seen. Any other idea? regards,
