LOGO!8 - S7 communication and protocol license

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, once more: Siemens has not published S7 protocoll. As I know there is no one from Siemens who will give (sale) a official S7 license to you. Not for free and also not for sale. You can contact Siemens in different regions and as often as you want but you don't get it. All other SW tools I know who are able to communicate to Siemens LOGO! mostly use Libnodave. I have no information where the Libnodave developer has got the S7-protocoll information to develop Libnodave. But any way you can ask him. Hope this helps

And it can be used for business product. I hope publishing this link is not harm forum rules.
