Hello,

is it possible to use the LOGO!8 transistor outputs to drive the coils in a LOGO! Contact relay module?

I've read the datasheet and figured out that I can drive loads up to 300mA but I can't seem to find the specifications for the relays in the LOGO! Contact module.

Also: do I need to add flyback diodes or are the LOGO! outputs protected already?

The current consumption of the contact module with a 24VDC coil is 170 mA.
I'd would take at your plaxce flyback diodes parallel with the coil.
