In my project i am using 6ES7138-4CA01-0AA0 power module so i am little bit confused that  how many io modules can be connect on single power module?

and exact which terminals has to be short in power module? for each power module which is going to connect to respective io's( May DI,Do,AI,AO)

this depends which modules you have exactly pluged.

The PM24 have a carrying capacity of 10A, so you can plug for example:

2x 4DO/2A or
5x 8DO/0.5A

So you see it depends on which modules you plug and connect to the PM and which consumption this modules have.

You can read in the technical data of the modules for this details.

Or you use the TIA Selection Tool to configure the modules , here you get messages if the load is to much for the PM24.

10 x 8DI DC24V 6ES7131-4BF00-0AA0 is no problem.

DI at all are no problem. Powermodules are for supply the Outputs and the Modules that need power from the power rails in the Terminalmodules. See the manual of ET200s for futher information. Chapter 3.4

But the current fact is that we are connecting 8 x 8 DO modules on the single power module and it is working fine. Due to this confusion are creating in me. Which one is right.

by using 8 DO modules must not mean you have so much current. 

one of the 8 DO-Modules can have a maximum consumption of 4A (8x0,5A), so theorethically 3 modules can cause to much current. 

If the actor on the outputs has a smaller consumption, you can run more Outputs with one Powermodule.

Means if i want supply 24v for sensors or load (say it will be an switches or buttons) which will connect to DI module as mentioned then for this i have to give an external 24V supply to aux terminals of DI module.

5x 8DO/0.5A as per this configuration from tia tool my quarry is if 0.5A is the per output current then the total module current comes to 4A then how 2A is showing in the TIA tool.
