Hello experts,

I have a S7 CPU315F with some IOs connected. I also have ET200s which communicates with the CPU via profibus. There is no problem untill I add a PROFIsafe DI and DO to ET200s. As soon as I add these two modules, SF LED gets RED .

Any idea where should I look ate to find the problem?

SF LED on the CPU or on the ET200?
Only SF LED? No BF?

Have you configured the Modules in HWCOnfig in the ET200?
Have you set the correct Safety Adresses (the modul should have a Dip switch on the backside)

SF LED on CPU, IM151 and modules. There is a dip switch on modules side but I don\t know what is that for. Can you explain what is safety address?

If ypu have a RED SF LED on the PLC is very good if you take a look in the diagnostic buffer of the PLC, here ypu get information which error is present.
You can also make a diagnostic in the HWConfig (go online in HWConfig) for the ET200S.

Thanks, the DIP switch setting was different in Hardware configuration and the module.
