Referance Problem

Kutty Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am having 802D system and 611U drive with direct measuring system through ADI4 card. Now all axis are working fine. My problem is, when i am give referance command it was searching ref cam. After found referance cam, it was search ref marker with spicify direction. Then it will say encoder ref marker not found. I will give ref marker search distance more than one revolution. Encoder Details SIEMENS MAKE 2500PPR, 5V, TTL Signal. That same encoder is working fine for orientation operationfor anlog spindle in 802D system. So that, same encoder having ref marker also. All ref parameters was set as per incremental encoder method. Please anybody help me. Thanks for your valuable answers.

danial Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, why you didn't try to swap between the encoder which give this probelm and the encoder used for spindle, I think it will leads to good result. I hop this help. danial.

Kutty Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Thanks your reply. I had tried that method also which is give same result(Encoder marker not found). That direct measuring for two linear axis only. Just for checking purpose only, i was changed same encoder to another machine, but this machine not having ADI4. So that i am using X412 Port in 611UE controller card. Same encoder working with orientation function. So, that encoder having referance pulse, that is clear. In ADI4 card this the same encoder says encoder marker not found......

vki Posts: 63 Rating: (3)	Hi, I think you have ADI4 of 6FC5211-0BA01-0AA3. If product is under warranty , ask for local Sinumerik Customer Support team. They will provide solution.
