Hi,

   MAC address is not showing in ET 200S IM 151 - 8.  How to find out the MAC address ? I have checked all the possible options through Edit Ethernet Node. But i didnt. Help me out.

hi,

searching for accessible nodes is a MAC-Adress-Broadcast. Some antivirus-programms are blocking it with a function called like "Network-Protect" or similar. Try to disable this function or the whole anti-virus-scan. Maybe an other device in your network is blocking that function(switch, router).

you can also try to install the SIMATIC Automation Tool. Whit this Tool you will also install PC-Identifier-SW, that repairs the programming interfaces.

Hi frnd,

            Few days before,i  reinstalled the OS Win7 followed by SIMATIC and WINCC . i didnt install any anti virus softwares. 

Now i am using  step 7 v 5.5. I have upgraded to step 7 5.5.3. i have one more laptop which is having the same software but that is working fine.
