Mahmoud.Hazem Posts: 109 Rating: (2)	Dear Daniel Chartier, I access the PLC through Gateway configuration ,and i have two types of CPs as following (433-1EX20 , and 433-1EX11) , but i have challenge in the connection between the Gateway and CP 433-1EX11 as it lost and never came back till i ping the Gateway switch from the CP to get the connection up again ,so I want to over come this challenge ,because the CP 433-1EX20 works without any problem with the same configurations. What connection are you using for the Send/Recv interface, ISO-on-TCP, ISO transport, TCP/IP, UDP? Do you use the same connection on both CPs? Could you give us a screenshot of your Send_Recv blocks and your Netpro configuration? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Mahmoud.Hazem Posts: 109 Rating: (2)	Dear Daniel Chartier, 1- The Gateway we use is Core Switch (Cisco 4510) ,and we use the same model for each CPs. 2- We use TCP/IP connection ,and yes we use the same concept on both CPs. 3- The send and Recv Blocks we use are (FC5 ,FC6 but they aren't called in the Program even in OB1). 4- the Screen Shots for Each CP as attached .ZIP Best Regards, Mahmoud Hazem Attachment CP 433-1 .zip (478 Downloads)

I tried to find compatibility information between the firmware versions of theCPUs and the CPs, but I located no details that could help out with your situation. I looked into your statement of Send/Recv blocks not being programmed, which bothered me, but again found no specific document that specifies what problems this might provoke. At this point I can only suggest that you bring this to the attention of Siemens support techs directly, using a Support Request (use the link at the top of this page).
