Alarm logging

Mel Bronze Member Joined: 12/27/2007 Last visit: 8/11/2025 Posts: 128 Rating: (1)	Hi all I am using wincc Flexible for the 1st time I was advised that I could log alarms with the tp177B colour In the help files it mentions opening the log editor under historical data but I have no historical data tab on my project does this mean the tp177 can not log alarms? All I want to do is print alarm history on pressing a button and if select a time range of which alarms to print if possible ? Thanks

The Brain Posts: 1611 Rating: (121)	Hi, a TP177B did not of historical data. Only Panelfrom27x did have historical data Maybe you using a "Report". Info about this you will find in the online help. regards,

Mel Bronze Member Joined: 12/27/2007 Last visit: 8/11/2025 Posts: 128 Rating: (1)	Hi I have tried configuring a report with an alarm view object and assigned two internal tags as from date and to date but when the print report button I have created is pressed the printer does nothing but if I unplug the printer just after pressing the report button I get an error that the printer has timed out it is as if no buffer is being sent to the printer although alarms are displyed in the history regards Mel

Look to this FAQ ->http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/11376409 info about "report" you will findit in the online help from flexible or in this manual. -> http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18796010 I mean, it is very difficult to find a printer which work! (I did not use a printer with a panel yet) regards,
