IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	Hello, certainly it is no surprise for the Simatic - Insider that today on 01.04.2016 Siemens announced by engineering leadership that the development and distribution of the SIMATIC software "TIA Portal" will be quit to the end of this year. The reason given by the senior engineer (LI H. Berger) was that the global level of automation has now reach a sufficiently high level and Siemens wants to focus on its core business, the development of refrigerators and power plants again. For the stock price can be expected after such notification boosted significantly.

I think the continually complains which have came from the customers frequently ,,,let Siemens reconsiders about rebuild the TIA portal again.......

All future controllers will be cloud based soft controllers. New programming package will also be cloud based and will extensively use Artificial intelligence tools. You will simply need to upload the control requirement / FDS and it will generate the code automatically ( Well almost ) All licenses will be based on annual subscription basis. Cheers Navnag

All business deals in the Siemens group, witch are not designed (concept) for old Germany engineering school, have experienced weak financially effect (problems with new train ICE , solar power plant in Africa, SIEMENS VAI) Philosophy that was developed in *Nürburg -Erlingen* is abandoned. Erlingen is not only Siemens e.g. ex GMC, now GOSSEN METRAWATT come back to old. It means that it's global problem. I hope that the new philosophy will bring much better result, and that IBN-Service will not read BUG, BUG BUG.......
