Hello,

I've found some similar forum posts but still can't connect to my KT600B DP.  I'm running WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3 on Windows 7 x64.  I have a USB/PPI multi-master cable (6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0).  It's unclear what I'm supposed to select in the PG/PC interface control panel but I've tried several configs, none of which seem to work--or even try: the indicators on the cable light up for a second when plugging in the usb end but that's it.

Also on WinCC itself it's unclear which option to select.  The only thing with PPI is the RS232 cable selection.  The other choices are USB (which I'm assuming is direct USB to USB) and MPI/DP.

Any ideas?  Thanks!

If i open Project -> Transfer -> Transfer i get the attached screen.

In this dialog you see no USB/PPI?

Thanks Christopher--I figured out my initial problem:  I'm upgrading my project from a TP177B and didn't realize I hadn't changed the device type yet.  That got me started but now I have another problem requiring another thread.  The OS for the KTP600B DP required an update but that fails every time.
