well, you can compare standard and siplus plc by looking at their specifiations.

SIPLUS are basicaly the same thing, equal, but it has additionaly a protective painting (conformal painting) that protects circuit board from oxidation and acids.

The SIPLUScomponentsare also tested on higher temperatures, so they withstanded a burn-in test on higher temp. so it is clearly that only components without (small) anomalies in silicon wafer production have passed the test, others failed, so there is a number of components that have to be recycled during this test and of course the price of remaing, working, parts are higher. But basicaly is the same part.

 are siplus module expensive more than standard module or  same prices

Don't have the numbers, but let's see.....

SIPLUS extreme are devices for reliable operation under difficult to extreme conditions. 

 For sure SIPLUS is more expensive than normal modules. 

But there are some places or applications you became forced to use SIPLUS type in order to maintain long life time of your system.
