When making a  new PI Controller, in past versions you could reference another block as the set point. When opening a new PI controller in V8, no option for referencing a block is available.  I think i may have gotten around it by staring to write it in V7 and then opening that program in V8.  Strangest thing, when i use the existing PI controller from another program it has reference option under PI.  when I drag a new one over it does not.  Anyone else experience this?  Is there a software patch out there for this?    

Further study - When determining hardware, selecting a back version of LOGO machine, such as a 6 or 7, the reference block feature on the PI controller is displayed.  when selecting a LOGO 8 it is not an option. Does anyone know why.  Going to make current project pretty hard if i cant aside an adjustable set point to the controller.  Any help is welcome.   

With the Logo 0BA8 and the resulting new software version, the reference function is executed differently.

Read but please only the question before you answer. It is about the reference function, not to the general functions of the PI controller.
