WinCC Flex Runtime

I have an HMI project created by a third party for use on a TP177B and am trying to convert for use on a touch PC using WinCC Flex runtime. I've hit two problems, the first is when I change the screen resolution, all the font sizes increase by more than the increase in screen size i.e. I go from 640x480 to 800x600 and all my font sizes double. I really don't feel like having to go through the entire HMI to reset the font sizes (and I don't want the PC to run in 640x480 unless I absolutely have to). Also, I can't seem to get loader to work. I point it to the WinCC Flex runtime file, press start and it tells me to load the application, which it won't do. Any help folks??? Stuart

stuartr Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	Thanks Brain, although the FAQ didn't really help me because the configuration PC and the Runtime PC are the same. I transferred (using WinCC Flex) to a file location, put the file name in the file location for Autostart, and tried hitting start. No avail. Any thoughts? Cheers Stuart

The Brain Posts: 1611 Rating: (121)	Hi, do you want to start the flexible runtime project using autostart? Create a shortcut from the *.fwx data. Put this short cut to the desktop (Maybe you give the symbol a nother name) Put this short cut from the desktop to "Start > Programs > Startup" (Drag&Drop) After you start the pc, the project will be start. -> Look to the attachment, there are two screen shots. regards, Attachment Autostart.zip (183 Downloads)

stuartr Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	Thanks Brain, I had gone down this route already today, but thought there was a more 'economical' path to make things a bit simpler. It's now working (although with a little too much access to windows during the startup phase - will just write a vb script to disable access during boot). However, my problem with the earlier issue (text jumps with screen res change) is still haunting me. Ah well, one easter bunny at a time......
