WinCC flex runtime licens?

motpot Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi Im about to make an applikation useing a PC with WinCC flex installed. But im not awear of it require a licens to run on a PC, as far as i remember i think i need to get a "wincc flex runtime licens". Is this correct? And do anyone know if there any differens in these "runtime licenses" besides the number of tags? If its needed do anyone then have a number for the licens? kind regards

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/2/2025 Posts: 16290 Rating: (1930)	Hello Motpot NO! there is no Archive Llicense in a normal winCC flexible Runtime License. You have to purchase the Archive License extra: 6AV6618-7ED01-3AB0 or here is a Package with Archives and Recipies in one Package: 6AV6618-7GD01-3AB0 If you have a WinCC Flexible Upgrade Package (for example from 2007 Runtime to 2008 Runtime) then there is a License for all available options within, but only as Upgrade license, so you need also the License purchased in the Past. So again, you have to buy the Archive License extra its not in the normal runtime Package. Bye Murof
