Hi to everyone

i'm using a poinput module 138-6BA00-0BA0 with an SSI BALLUFF encoder

after some days of test,a random alarm arise on the technology object (ID Nr. 00:019B,general error hardware encoder and encoder in parking state)...if i reset the tec object the encoder return to work without any problems.

in attachment there is hte setup of posinput module

Has this problem been repeated with you? or it is only one time problem?

If it is being repeated? what do you do for this problem to occur?

the machine works fine for 10 days then the error appear 3 times in two days...when the problem occur,i only rise the bit to reset the technology object and the machine continue to run

Do you know what the ID event mean?

I prefer to use the links in this thread to diagnose S7 1500, but when the error message is not well understood I contact SIEMENS Support through this link with my error ID

I think you should trace the error from TM module, not the TO. The TO gives just a general information, while for exact info you should capture the TM error code.
