Hi All Members,

I am having some difficulties in doing Siprotec relay communication with ABB 800xA. 

I had gone through almost all posts in this forum regarding the same & followed the suggestions provided by respected Experts. I need the help regarding the same.

I read that for communication of Siprotec relay with ABB scada we have to create datasets & reports in IEC61850 configurator. I did that as you can find that in attached document.

I tried to solve this issue by my own by reading manuals but I failed.Can some one please let me know the next steps to be followed as experts are doing this work from years. It would be a great help if some document can be provided.

Hi

do you have experience with Siprotec? I strongly recommend a Training, as Siprotecs are protection devices and you may disable protection functions, which may cause injury or serious damage.

When  Reports are configured, you have to update the devices. Right click on the 61850 Station and click on update

 Yes sir, I Tried updating the device by right click the staiton & in its properties like you said, but when we update with this process, all the relays are getting updated, & some of them are loosing their goose signals. 

What should I do ?

How can I update 1 relay at a time which also does not effect its present communication with siemens scada
