I have an application where there is a Profibus Ring with three OLM/G12, due to the nature of the application from time to time I have to remove the fiber optic cables for a remote I/O station; and often the FO are being broken due to the handling; I would like to know if it is possible to use cooper profibus cables instead of those expensive FO cables. If that is possible how should I wire it just for that remote station?

The only way to establish a Profibus ring is to use OLMs, unfortunately; copper cannot achieve a ring topology. There are many discussions on this subject on the forum, here is one that has links to various important documents:
