zigzag.minded Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	Dear all, Is there anyone, please let me clear about the "Simulation Value(SIM_V)" of Analog Input(CH_AI) Functional block FC275. How can we determine the simulation value? Here i have attached two Analog Input functional block, where simulation values are varied but how? hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 8/31/2025 Posts: 6874 Rating: (1368)	Dear user, Your question is not clear.In case of modules that require a driver to handle signals from modules ,there are always a simulation activation bit and a simulation value to test the entire logic without having proper value on channel or to bypass using it.It is an input and it has in effect when SIM_ON is active. If those signals have the same data type or structure, as they have because CFC editor accepted them to be connected,U and V have same physical meaning with different names.In this case, it is "naming preference" .
