why do you want to add a Report?

why are you using an older Version of Digsi/Syscon?

To add a Client you have to add an ICD for the Client as a device. In this Version you have you have to add it in Digsi. In the newer Version you add it directly in Syscon.

I am working on an existing project which was commissioned in 2015. The project has been made in the same version. Now I didnt find the icd file for client in C drive (SysKon).

And the answer for your second ques.. I am able to establish a communication with the siemens relay but autoupdate for the change in state of signal is not visible in ABB scada. Eg. BCU operation changed from LOCAL to REMOTE. this status is updated instantly in siemens scada but for ABB, it is visible after refresh. What we thought it is bec. ABB system require reportclient for autoupdate of signals inCET OPC SERVER FOR IEC.

ABB  requires static reporting and I didnt understand the rest you wrote. "autoupdate" is called spontaneous annunciation

Another issue which you told in one of the forum  would be the reporting. Here all relays have "Dynamic & static reporting". CAn this problem be solved if I change the repoting to STATIC only As ABB doesnot support Dynamic reporting. AND will changing this repoting to static is going to effect existing siemens communication ?

The Setting you are talking about refers to the Memory for buffered reports. If you Change it, Sicam won't be able to use the buffered reports and won't communicate. Dont Change it.

You Need to configure static Report, and this you already did. In ABB Software you have to select These reports. I have no idea how. The Problem is that, depending on how you configure Sicam, it will also communicate with the same Report. The new Sicam Versions you can define which Report should be used, with olders not.

For this reason you configure the Client. You then set the IP address of the Clients and the Clients should connect to the Report they are configured to. You have to create one Report for each client
